Project Description

Here is a portfolio of Bar Mitzvah photography in Israel. In the Old City of Jerusalem or in a synagogue. In Tel Aviv, Modiin or Raanana.

As a bar mitzvah/bat mitzvah photographer, I always try to capture special moments and especially emotions. The bar mitzvah is a milestone for a young jew and his family. There are so many meaningful moments: the bar mitzvah singing, the delight of family, and the true joy of friends. A significant part of this portfolio is devoted to portrait photography which is so important when dedicating yourself to a bar mitzvah/bat mitzvah.

Being a Bar Mitzvah photographer in Jerusalem is definitely a chance!

It’s always an honor for me to photograph bar mitzvahs at the Kotel in Jerusalem. People from all over the world come to the Kotel – the Western Wall – in Jerusalem’s Old City to live a unique moment! The Kotel represents the link between the past and the future. The Western Wall is the most sacred site of Judaism. The Kotel creates genuine emotions. I have seen people far removed from any connection with judaism crying at the Kotel… and it was hard for them to explain why…
